For dinner tonight I made a Chopped Vegan Version of a Caprese Salad with avocado instead of mozzarella. I used local cherry tomatoes and fresh basil that I grew. It was DELICIOUS.
As Day 5 ends I’ve lost a solid 5 pounds and I feel good.
I’ve definitely been detoxing. I go through periods of fatigue and my face broke out, but it’s now clearing up. I also go through brief periods of intense cravings for things that I know are not healthy for me (heavy, fatty, greasy foods). Then I think, how would I feel if I ate that right now and realize that it would not be the best thing for my body and I would feel heavy and uncomfortable afterward.
I’m not sure if I am going to do 10 days or the full 15 but I’m not dreading it at all. This has not been difficult for me and I I feel like I’m doing something very good for my health and well being.
